The 2mil thickness is the standard general thickness on bags, and the bag is measured width by length from beneath the zipper.
These small bags are great for packaging jewelry, beads, coins, and more. The single track zipper is easy to pull open and pinch shut, and the sealed bag keeps out dirt and moisture.
